Alan Mills

Prolific is owned and run by the Managing Director of Pennine Financial Planning, Alan Mills CFP - who has over 20 years experience as a financial adviser. He is currently one of only 900 (approx) Certified Financial Planners in the UK. In addition to his extensive practical experience and knowledge in financial planning, he also has numerous advanced qualifications. Alan is a keen football supporter being a lifelong Leeds United fan and keenly takes an interest in his home town club Barnsley FC.

Paul Heckingbottom
Born in Barnsley, Paul was a season ticket holder at the town's football club, with his grandfather. He started his own football career at Manchester United as a trainee. He made 128 appearances for Darlington scoring 6 goals before joining Norwich City. Making 16 appearances before signing for Bradford City where he was named their player of the year at the end of his first season. He then joined Sheffield Wednesday and made a total of 41 appearances at left back in his first season - more than any other player that year. He also scored four goals, helping Wednesday to the League One play-off final at the end of the 2004-05 season.
Paul then went to his boyhood club Barnsley. He played an important part in their promotion campaign and the win against Swansea City in the League One play-off final, scoring one of the four penalties that secured their promotion to the Championship. He made 42 appearances for Barnsley scoring one goal. He then rejoined Bradford City where he made 53 appearances before joining Mansfield Town where he is currently under contract.
Paul is working as a consultant with Prolific using his knowledge and experience to provide valuable input into the development of solutions to the needs of the modern day sports professional.
Tom Scrimgeour

A former Major in the British Army’s Adjutant General’s Corps, Tom Scrimgeour is an independent business and systems consultant. He is responsible for the design and implementation of Prolific’s bespoke analysis software. He was previously the Head of Operations for the Silver Planet Group of companies. Prior to that he was the national training co-ordinator of IFAs for Berkeley Independent Advisers (BIA), following a spell as managing director for a Halifax IFA firm. Tom has also worked as a general manager running large call and service centres for commercial out of hours doctors services as well as 5 years as a primary care practice manager in the National Health Service.
